Monkey See, Monkey Do...Children's Bookstore received the Women's National Book Association (WNBA) Pannell Award in 2012. This award is given out to recognize and publicly applaud the work of booksellers who stimulate, promote and encourage children’s and young people’s interest in books.
In December, 2014 James Patterson gifted Monkey See, Monkey Do...Children's Bookstore with seed money that started this wonderful event.
The WNY Children's Book Expo is the culmination of our mission recognized by the Women's National Book Association as well as the tremendous support of James Patterson and the WNY community.
